What's up folks this is your girl the nappy headed sista. I have been very busy getting things done. It's been so many things going on here lately in society. Everything from the swine flu outbreak to celebrities acting like their asses don't have no common sense. It's truly a shame that some folks are blessed to have certain things, but then they take it for granted. Why I ask? Why I ask? It's pointless to waist what the good Lord has blessed you with. As a matter of fact Jamie Foxx went a little too far about Mylie Cyrus...so they say. I SAY HELL TO THE NAW! I mean I know she is young, but her ass understands a hell of a lot. She is out here dating a twenty-one year old grown ass man, and shaking her ass in windows and sh*t! Can we all say RUFKM! I mean what are you, a teenager that is clean cut or a wanna-be grown ass woman who is doing grown things? It makes no sense to do those things out here when the whole world is watching you like a hawk. Jamie Foxx was joking on his show. How in the world can you take him seriously when he is saying something like that. If Mylie or others are too damn sensitive then they need to get their asses out of the entertainment business. You have to have a thick skin when you are in this business. Most folks don't! IF YOU CAN'T STAND THE HEAT GET YOUR ASS OUT OF THE MF KITCHEN! Happy Easter to all on this holiday. I am so thankful to be here and alive. I hope everyone takes this day and appreciate their families, kids, friends, and themselves. We are all blessed with so much, and we should humble ourselves and be thankful. I feel everyday is a day to be thankful not just on a holiday. If we show grattitude I think things will get better. We have to all come together at some point and look beyond just being thankful when a holiday rolls around, but be thankful everyday that we wake up. I know I am and I hope you are to. Life is full of holidays that go and come, but it has to go beyond the usual holiday into everyday life. We definately need to spead the niceness, and love to others, especially the ones we care about. It's time for niceness to make a comeback, and not just on a holiday. Peace.

FREEDOM! What It Should Mean To Us As Americans!

Freedom is something that we take advantage of in everyday life. It seems that people get up in the morning and go about their daily lives and don't take into account that they have freedom. It's amazes me that most of us don't take in life like we should. I mean you have the world at your finger tips and you choose other things then exploring life (your life). I am so happy to have freedom, because I am free to do what I want. I am free to be who I am at anytime in my life. I can do something different when I want, live how I want, and free to be me all day everyday. People say that life is hectic and upsetting at times. Yes, all those things are true, because that is how life works. Life isn't here to be perfect, make you happy, or be your best friend. It's here as an open road so that you can decide how to live it, how to want it, and make choices. Freedom to me is life. Everyday I wake up and take a breath, I feel fabulous! I feel as if I can take on any problem that may come my. I value my life and my freedom because I know in an instant it can be taken away. In today's society people have gotten out of being humble and into the mindset that life owes them. That isnt' how it should be. No one owes you a damn thing!. What I think that freedom should mean to Americans is that, we can be who we want, say what we want, and live how we want. It's a beautiful thing and we should take it and live it everyday. Being free is a priviledge not a right. We should all take heed to that and learn to be free. When it comes right down to it, freedom is fabulous, and once we start living it then we can all appreciate what freedom has to offer! Peace

When you think about improving your life style in any fashion it's always good. Just waking up and moving around gives you room to improve on a daily basis. When you look at what you are doing at this moment, can honestly say that you have it going on so much that you don't need improvement? No, you can't say that. If you say that you are full of sh*t! In order to grow in your life and move forward you have to improve somewhere in your life. Whether it's losing weight, education, parenting, marriage, or just a good ole fashion attitude check. At times we have to do a self evaluation to see what we need to change. Change isn't a bad thing unless you have the mentality of a rougue person. However, never let your life slip by without doing something different. Even for the sista's change is fabulous! I say that because some of us don't think that we need change at all. Especially when it comes to slimming down a bit for health or seeking outside help for your family. Sista's with nice round asses are beautiful don't get me wrong. However the problem is when it starts to get out of control and your health is in jeapardy. All I am saying is take a look at yourself and see where change is needed. If you have to, then ask your friends (your real friends) what they think. Hey people life is full of great things to take advantage of and we have to get out there go for it. For my black people, bitterness, and other things that go along with being black, let it go. You can live your life just as well if not better like everyone else. Life is all about improving and when the time comes accept it with open arms. When it comes down to it, life is the most valuable thing we will ever have, and that's real talk. Live it! Love it! The famous I have a dream speech is one that resignates with all of us. It's a speech with lots of meaning and substance. It's to bad that we don't take heed to that speech and live by it. I am going to tell you what American really lives by because I'm tired of this sh*t! America doesn't follow or even remotely live by those famous words. One thing is true our kids are out of control in more ways than you can imagine. They are doing things that our parents would never even dream of doing. Everything from hoing, pimpin, stealing, lying, cheating, having babies, violence, and dropping out of school. Society has let go all of those fundamental building blocks and now our kids have gone wild. Inturn they made these bogus laws that does nothing but work against parents. The reason for this is because parenting in the home isn't like it use to be. Parents these days don't instill those morals and values in their kids like they use to. Parents are to busy to discipline, love, and supervise their kids. Instead they look to tv, computers, and the school system to raise their kids. Parents are also out here acting like they have no common sense. Meaning they are out here shaking their stank asses at clubs, having lots of kids that they can't care for with countless fathers, jobless (their fault), and committing trifling acts of nonsense. What does society do with that sh*t? We would of never dreamt or wished something like this to happen. It use to be that we all had dreams and pursued them to the fullest. Now we have society embracing "being rich" as a profession, video vixens as a staple, rappers who dominate tv and media, and mainstream society coning people out of their money. No wonder the kids of today are not determined to get out there and strive for anything. It's disturbing on so many levels! Parents do what is necessary for your kids to survive in this society. Be the Parents instead being a friend. Be the parent and give that hard discipline that kids need. In the end your child will love you more than ever. You will also succeed and beat the odds so to speak and your child will make it and be that productive citizen of society. Once "real" parenting make a true comeback then we can say "I have dream that one day....you finish the rest! Peace.

The G-20 what can I say about that round table polical tea party. While their asses were stylin and Proflin we are stuck wondering where our next meal is going to come from. Well, we all know that most of the World leaders can't wait to attend the G-20 to show off their status. You go pimpin! It's really a meeting that rarely gets things done, but a meeting of socializing with folks that you know your ass can't stand. This sumit comes up every year and for the life of me, I don't see anything that says we are one world. I think the G-20 should be called "got-20." Which means break us off a 20 right now cause we need it! If each nation contributes $20 a day extra to it's citizens then we may not be where we are at this point. Oh, I forgot AIG took that sh*t and much more with the way they have their hand out wanting money. Besides the G-20 is nothing more than the players ball out in vegas they have each and every year. Most of the nations leaders that show up at the G-20 are pimpin their countries. It's such a shame that they go their with their own agenda and to show their asses in front of everyone and to declare who has more in their pocket. It's going to take a while before we start believing in this country and world leaders that they can get things done. Lives are changed forever and it's very evident that most politcal representatives don't care. RUFKM! All together now RUFKM! That is what I think about this bogus meeting of sorts that never yields any solutions. Sadly we are still going to be in the same boat like we were even when the G-20 is long over down the road. Their is no yellow brick road of promises or gold for the people. We cannot go home, nor can we go back to our jobs that we lost. We are nowhere and nowhere fast! I hope that President Obama can help the nation and get us somewhat back to a state of normalcy. If not then the next time the G-20 rolls around, I want to go and say "got-20" to all of their asses because I need someone to break me off a 20. Can we say "got-20!"

WOW! That's what I say when I hear that the Brits are drooling over President Obama. It's really funny in a way, because the political world is fickle but sensitive to the President. This man is doing it up when it comes to his polical game. President Barack Obama has character, charisma, good looks, and a great attitude. No wonder why people like him so much. Oh, don't leave out the fact that he is very smart. Here is a man that has the it factor! He is the man most tv journalist are wishing they could be. Here is a man that is also a great father, a great husband, and a great person. When it comes to President Barack Obama it doesn't get any better than this, because he is truly himself. I understand why the Brits are drooling all over him, because for the first time in the history of America they have finally found a American politian that they like. I am not surprised, but hey who would be. America at this point has a love hate relationship with the President, but more love because at this stage we are confident in him that he can make things work. One thing for sure, he is a man that is fine and is pleasing to the eye. So Brits drool all you want, but you can't have him because he belongs to us, America.

Why are Parents Not Disciplining their kids? Parents read and take heed!

I remember back in the day if I or my sister did anything wrong we would get it like you wouldn't believe. We had to go and get our own switch from the tree to get our asses tore up. It's mindblowing to see these kids these days sexting, disobeying their parents and the parent not whipping their asses. The kids of today get away with way to much and no one does anything about it, until they end up in jail. Parents I am telling you disciplining your kids isn't a bad thing! Don't let mainstream aka "white folks" tell you how to discipline your kids. Mainstream America put out these rules and laws that if you spank your child it's child abuse. Child abuse my ass! That's what's wrong with most white kids today, their parents don't whip their ass when they most need it. Instead they schedule a meeting to chat about their behavior instead. Can you say RUFKM!!! Think about that for a second-use common sense and tell me what the hell is really going on with America's kids. Now mainstream is quick to point out black kids in gangs and acting a straight fool on the street. They don't point out that the majority of parental killings come from white kids. Look America, understand this right here; kids will be kids no matter who they are, but it's up to parents to instill that discipline, strong morals and values and how to be productive citizens. When parents fall short then their kids fall even harder. Parents take the time and discipline your kids. Believe me your kids will understand in the long run, that it was for their own good. Black Women with Identity Issues! Can We Say White Barbie?

Yes America we are still living in those moments where the poor little black child is still choosing the white barbie for all around beauty. It's very obvious that most young black girls and women are brainwashed by mainstream society. It's sad to the point that black women don't see their own beauty. When this happens it translate to their own kids and the cycle continues. What mainstream America aka "white society" says is beautiful, it's usually blonde hair and blue eyes of skinny white chick with no shape. This isn't the only symbol of beauty in America! I think to some degree black women suffer from an identity crisis interms of beauty. Being told that black is whack for so long, most black women have developed self-esteem issues like no other. We definately have issues with our hair and body. We have been brainwashed to believe that our hair isn't good. We have been brainwashed to think that our round asses and nice breast makes us fat and disgusting. So when it comes black women having confidence about being beautiful we don't have it! We need to get it! Believe me if I could bottle it and sell it I would! We are beautiful with our nappy napps and round asses and nice breast. This is what makes a black woman among her exotic and fabulous personality. It's time to start the new black woman revolution today. When more of us put it out there and keep it positive and then young black girls can feel that they are beautiful. So therefore the choosing the white barbie for all around beauty would be and can be nonexistant. Take a stand for black today!

We find ourselves hating our hair because mainstream wants us to comform to their standards of beauty (white). Luckily we have enough women who are stepping up and stepping out against it. Hurrican Katrina Victims-The battle isn't over!

Hurrican Katrina was terrible in the sense that it wreaked havoc on New Orleans. It's been 3 1/2 years since the storm and the majority of folks in the nineth ward (mostly black) have not fully returned. It's such a shame that the state have not done more to get those people back home. It's been said that there isn't any money to rebuild and so forth. However it's a crock of sh*t! There asses do have the money, just not for the blacks of New Orlean's nineth ward. We all know that the white folks of New Orleans are jumping for joy because most of the African America population cannot afford to return. There is something brewing in New Orleans and it always have been brewing. Prejudice does not get you far no matter where it's coming from. With most of the southern cities and towns still having a racist mindset it wouldn't be so far fetched that New Orlean's whites would be thrilled to see most of the black population gone. What a shame and how low can you go. It's really upsetting to the point that we are still living in these times with hate and disgust for the black race. What most whites have to remember is that regardless of how they feel, there ancestors brought us here. They obviously wanted the black race over here for something. That something just happened to be slavery, nannies, and good ole fashion f*cking. That is why we are so mixed up among other things. I know when you read this blog, you may feel that I am just ranting about New Orleans, race, katrina and more. However, really try to wrap your mind around it for change and understand that being black in America is still a challenge and will always be a challenge. Times are changing slowly, but if you want to speed this sh*t up, then I suggest you get some fire up under your ass and get something done. If not then black America in New Orleans and everywhere else will be left behind. Step it up my black people!

Teens and Sexting! Parents wake the hell up!

Today I just got the news that a 14 yr old NJ girl got in trouble for posting naked photos of herself on myspace. Apparently it's so series that she could face registering as a sex offender for life. Here is a little snipit of the story:

TRENTON, N.J. – A 14-year-old New Jersey girl has been accused of child pornography after posting nearly 30 explicit nude pictures of herself on MySpace.com — charges that could force her to register as a sex offender if convicted.

One would wonder where her parents were when she was amusing herself with all of this bad behavior. Parents wake the f*ck up and monitor your kids!! It's no wonder we have teens engaging in adult behavior because parents are to damn busy these days to care. Now we have a new disgusting trend where teens are sexting each other. Apparently they send each other nude and explicit messages via text. My girl Tyra Banks did a show on this same mess and I am not sure if even touched the surface. So many of us who are parents have to wake up and tend to our kids. I understand that we cannot monitor them 24/7 but you can still tear their asses up with when they get out of line (not literally). Instead of trying to make up for the time that you are not there by buying them sh*t that they don't need, spend some time with them and let your kids know that you are there for them. It's such a shame that parents these days are letting tv, cell phones, and the internet babysit their kids. Parent's you have every warning in the world when it comes to your kids messing up. Take heed to those warnings and instill that fundemental discipline that they need. Believe me your kids will still love you and appreciate you in the long run. PARENTS WAKE UP!

RUFKM! ALL TOGETHER RUFKM! Let's face it these reality shows are truly pathetic at best. The dubious behavior of some of the women on these shows are questionable. Why in the hell would a woman go on tv to find love anyway? What the hell is her problem that she has to flaunt her ass in front of millions of people just to find love. It's truly pathetic! When you see these bitches in action, you say to yourself that, that bitch is a hoe and she is trying to make that money. Come on man keep it real!If you are on these sleezy shows tell the truth as to why. Tell the truth that you are on the show for fame and fortune and to be a gold digger. GOLD DIGGERS, GOLD DIGGERS what can you say about this unfortunate occupation. Most of the women on those shows such as (Rock of love-Bret Michaels, For the love of Ray Jay, Flava of love, I love new york etc..) are gold diggers. It's really a shame that most of todays women are looking for a man to give them money instead of a life partner. The most saddest thing is that mainstream america glorifys this sh*t like it's so right. In today's society so many people are fake, that showing your true self is obsolete. No wonder why most of our younger youth is all about the outter shell. Our youth are not getting any smarter and certainly not any richer. When you look at today's stastitics you know already the rate of kids dropping out of school and looking for a tv to educate them are enormous! It's truly a shame and it's pathetic. Parents step up and maybe your daughter won't be on a reality show as gold digger and a drunk, and your son won't be a drug dealer and criminal. COME ON MAN KEEP IT REAL!

It just amazes me that now after so many years of mainstream America aka "white folks" downing the poor and blacks about being on welfare, now there asses need a damn bailout. It seems so much is happening in America with the economy. We are now worried about the "big dogs" taking the money rather than the poor blacks taking money from the government. Huge corportations are needing cash up the wasu and it's pathetic! I can understand it if they just needed a loan to cover certain things because these are hard times. What I cannot understand is that they need, need, and need! Not only do they get the money just like that, but use it to party, and shake their asses in a foreign country. Aint this a b*tch! It's truley pathetic that the lower class who work their asses off everyday, have to come off of their hard earned tax dollars to support these beggin needy greedy moochers! Come on man, wtf is happening in this country. They are not any better then the typical welfare mother struggling to care for her kids. Anybody who is anybody has to let this sh*t be known to society and put their ass on blast. You know what they say "karma is b*tch!" Last and certainly not least, the government should let the big dogs struggle if not more,just like they continue let the poor single black mother,the lower class and many others struggle. Churchin for Fame and Dollars; The church where has it gone?

There is a new talk radio series starting on blog talk radio. The Literary Diva is really staying on her blog talk game by putting these hot topics out there. I can appreciate this topic on all levels. It has been my experience with church that pastors tend to do this sort of thing. You find that the church will ask the people to support it in a major way, but will not return the same to it's congregation. To some degree it's like the church has disappeared from the community (black) in search of fame and fortune. It's like saying they (the church) are to good for the community, so they leave to become a "glory hore." They are leaving the people that ultimately supported the church in the first place and it's not right. I am so glad to finally see a young person opening up a taboo discussion such as this-"the church." However even though my hat goes off to the Literary Diva for her efforts to have a discussion about the church, it's going to open up a can of worms. I will be listening because as you know talking about religion can really pull at most people. Peace!

Candy Girls! "aka" typical video girl!

Looks like "E" has a show dedicated to the typical video girl (make that money girls). Why I asked myself? Well, simply they feel like this sort of thing is in, so they (E) don't mind putting it out there. They think that we like this sort of thing so they glorify it by airing a show such as this. It's truly a shame when you think about it. These women are selling their souls to be in the presence of celebrities and fame. This behavior isn't new-so why don't "E" show something different. We all are hip to girls shaking their ass and doing coochie splits in a video. The owner of the agency has a real attitude problem at best. She acts like she has the only video (hoe) oh snap "gasp"...I mean (girl) agency in LA. It's typical these days that most channels (E,Vh1,mtv) show such filth such as this on a regular. We all know most video girls make money but also do more in order to secure their spot. We don't want to see that anymore. Show me a CEO making bank and living right instead selling her soul-her body. Show me a young entrepreneur creating something from the ground up and putting jobs back in the community. Oh, I keep forgetting that mainstream America don't want to showcase blacks in a good and positive light. We are not all video girls, welfare moms, strippers, and last but not least lazy! Michelle Obama is a true sista with a lot of character and humbleness. She is inspiring to us all no matter what! She brings a sense of realness and calmness to the white house and to the administration. For the first time in most black women's lives they truly have a role model that is not mega rich, a glory hore, and most of all they can relate to her in a lot of ways. Michelle Obama is person that has many layers to her that we have grown to know and respect. We have been looked down upon as black women (women in general) and now we have someone of color that is beating the odds (so to speak). It says a lot when she is featured on the cover of vogue. However some people feel that some of these magazines and news outlets are riding the Obama train and pasifying blacks. The Obamas are just regular people with something extra. They are who they are in the black community and that is real talk! Mainstream America has tried to seperate them from everyday black cultural issues and blackness all together. Mainstream America has tried to pull the wool over black folks eyes way to long. This nappy headed sista with a pov isn't buying it! The Obama's are a true cohesive black family that are living in America with the same black issues as most black Americans. Black folks hear me when I say this-don't be blinded by what Mainstream America "aka" white folks put out in the media regarding the black culture! They don't have a clue!

Economic fall out, but not for the Sista's!

Economic Fall out and big business being put on blast is something that was bound to happen. People are changing their tune and cutting back. However for the black sistas it's totally different. We still have to look fly and feel good about ourselves regardless of the economic state. The days where we stop going to the salon and getting high dollar weaves are never going away. We still believe in making it work in all ways when it comes to hair. Sista's are coming alive when it comes to starting trends and keeping it real. The natural sista is making a come back! Gasp! Gasp! It's true, it's true! Going natural still takes upkeep and salon maintence. I tell my sistas that if nappy is you-go for it and where it proud. Keeping it real and maintaining a nappy existence may be downsizing from a high dollar weave, but it's all good. Sistas want to look good and whatever the hair style. We will never forsake our hair even in a natural state just because the economy has gone bust! God Bless
